Selling your art
A. Enter your Artwork Information
- Enter your userid and password on the login box on the left and click "Login".
- You will see your work area
- Click on "Post New Auction"
- Enter your artwork details here
- Click on "click here to select" to select the Category which you artwork belongs to.
- Enter the name of your artwork in Auction Title. The maximum number of characters is 75.
- To add your artwork description, you can use the word functions to write your product description, just like how you would use Microsoft Word.
- If you prefer to use the html editor, click on "HTML" at the bottom of the editor.
- Once you are done, Click on "Preview" to preview your the description for your artwork.
- Starting Price: Enter your starting price here. This is the minimum amount you will accept for the item and you will be obligated to sell the item for this amount (or whatever the final bid is) unless you enter a RESERVE PRICE below to accompany your starting price.
- Buy-Only Item? : Check this box if you want to offer this item as a direct sale rather than going through the bidding process.
- Reserve Price(optional) : Enter an optional reserve price. If this price is not reached during the bidding, you are not obligated to sell the item. This is the "hidden" minimum amount you will accept for the item and the amount of the reserve price will not be displayed in the auction description.
- EZ-Now Price (optional) : Entering a value here means you will sell this item to the first person who offers to pay this amount. But once a bid has been made on the item, the EZ-Now price can no longer be accepted and this function will disappear.
- Bid Increment (optional) : entering a value here means that you override the default Bid Increment amount set by this site.
- Starting Date : if you want this auction to begin at a date and time other than now, enter that information here.
- Ending Date : if you want this auction to close at a certain date and time, enter that that information here -- up to 30 days from the starting date and time.
- Payment Terms : enter your terms of payment here if you have not already done so in your auction description. These are the forms of payment you will accept from the buyer and how quickly you expect payment to be made. These terms must be clear and specific and are binding on you and the buyer if a winning bid is made.
- Location : enter your general location -- at least your specific country -- to assist in knowing what shipping options will need to be considered.
- Shipping Terms : enter your shipping terms here if you have not already done so in your auction description. Include how you will package your item for shipping. These terms must be clear and specific and are binding on you and the buyer if a winning bid is made. Adding additional charges not clearly stated in the auction description to an invoice after the auction has closed is a violation of seller guidelines.
- Message Board: check this box if you want to activate the private message board to this item. The message board allows visitors to post comments about your artwork.
B. Preview your Artwork Information
- Click on "Preview Item" to preview your listing before publishing it.
- Verify your item information below.
- If you need to change anything, click the GO BACK AND REVISE button below, to modify your item information before posting it.
- If you are satisfied with your listing, click on "Save Changes" to publish your listing
C. Click on "Click here to manage images(s) for this item" to upload images of your artwork
- Click on "Browse" to select your images
- Select "Default" if you want to use the image as a thumbnail on the category listing page.
- YOu can upload up to 3 images.
- To delete images, select the image and click Update/Delete. Otherwise click "Back to Edit Item".
